DESCRIPTION 
Lory is a robust multipurpose device for use in industrial access and sport climbing applications. Its functionality spans the range from rope access and rescue descender device through semi-automatic belay device and in combination with Lanyard WP also temporary anchoring.
Two sub-types of the device exist: LORY Safe with unimpeded movement of the cam (for industrial use) and LORY Smart with impeded movement of the cam (also for sport use). Cam rotation impediment aids in feeding rope to the lead climber. By pulling the working end of the rope the cam engages and jams the rope. By pulling the handle the cam gradually releases the rope. If the handle is pulled down to its terminal position the double-stop function is triggered which blocks the rope again. To resume descending, return the handle in closed position and restart the process.

Vertical Grisha (Gri Gri 1)The device Grisha from the Vertical firm can be used both as a trigger and as a safety device. Represents analog of the known and popular Gri-Gri device from Petzl firm.Thanks to tightening abilities it can be applied as the lifting device.Descent and insurance are carried out by impact on the lever connected with the clamping clown. The free end of a rope is used for adjustment of speed of descent. In the loaded state, the clown presses a rope to the internal part of the cheek of "Grisha". It does not spoil and does not twist a rope.The analog of Gri-Gri is applied to work with dynamic and static ropes with a diameter of 10-11 mm. It is successfully applied in industrial mountaineering, rock-climbing, the organization of rescue operations.
