An alpinist’s best friend, Polar ice screw features an integrated crank and concave cut teeth for ease of placement in ice. The tube features a tapered profile for a smooth passage of the screw in ice. Polar ice screw is made from heat treated and hardened Chromoly alloy to achieve the desired mechanical properties.

 Multipurpose aluminum carabiner. The contact surfaces are wider to reduce wear and improve the passage of the rope. The D shape transfers the majority of the load on the main axis of the carabiner, which is the most resistant. The asymmetric shape is also ideal for belay systems. The screw sleeve allows to have a safer closing of the gate, and also makes it suitable for professional use. Usefull for use during bolt belay.
