                  An ergonomic handled ascender for optimized rope climbing with one or two hands.

Ergonomic, comfortable handled ascender.

Ergonomics and comfort were priorities when designing the HANDS UP handled ascender. It is equipped with a reinforced grip area, making it more comfortable and practical. This design allows a two-handed grip during rope ascents: on the side under the trigger as well as on the top. The opening of the cam is facilitated by an ergonomic offset lever. This control mechanism is made entirely of metal for durability.

Designed to work with blockers and footloops. 

The HANDS UP ascender handle is used in conjunction with the HOLD UP ventral ascender or any other rope ascender. The bottom hole is large enough to easily accommodate the AIR STEP footloop connector. The bottom attachment hole is also large enough to accommodate multiple carabiners and quick links 

Key features:

·         Can be used to compliment the HOLD UP chest ascender or any other ascender for rope ascents

·         Large lower attachment hole easily accommodates the connector for the AIR STEP foot loop.

·         The ascender’s shape allows it to be held with two hands when ascending rope: one on the side beneath the trigger and one above it. The handle is reinforced to improve ergonomics and comfort.

·         Large lower attachment hole can accommodate multiple karabiners and maillons.

·         All-metal construction of the operating mechanism to increase durability

·         An ergonomic protruding lever facilitates cam operation.

Ascender R.E. is an ascender with a handle designed for ascent on the rope with or without using the surrounding terrain.The anatomical shape of the handle allows for easy gripping and keeps it parallel to the loading direction. Rubber handle fits comfortably in your hand and is also thermally insulated.Fused latch has an anatomical shape which allows for spring-loaded  securing of the latch in the open positionA small hole in the bottom of the handle can be used to attach climbing  irons with maillons. A second larger hole can be used for connecting sling.

•  Slots in the latch automatically remove unwanted dirt that may be on the rope
• Two openings at the top can be used for a carabiner around the rope for higher safety
• The ascender´s body is of aluminum alloy to provide a lower weight
• Latch securely locks the rope and prevents the ascender for moving against the loading direction
• Colors for differentiation of ascenders: light grey for the left hand, light blue for the right hand
